Gregg Timmons, President and CEO
Gregg Timmons is a veteran software executive who has 30 years of experience building successful high-growth software businesses spanning Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and turn-around ventures. Prior to Apacheta Corporation, Gregg served as President & CEO of MedAct Software, a healthcare software company, leading its turn around and successful acquisition by Battery Ventures backed Brightree, LLC in November of 2013. Gregg has also held key executive roles at Internet start-ups including BorderWare Technologies, which focused on Internet and data security protection for commercial, government and healthcare markets and was acquired by WatchGuard Technologies. Before BorderWare, Gregg ran North American reseller channels for Netscape Communications, acquired by AOL/TimeWarner, Gregg also worked at Silicon Graphics focused on Internet Markets, and was at Eastman Kodak Company for 10 years in various management roles focused on marketing and selling business transformation solutions leveraging document and electronic imaging applications.
Gregg serves on several company boards of directors and is a frequent speaker, panelist, and author covering healthcare IT and Internet security. Gregg holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
Anthony Maddalone, Chief Financial Officer
Anthony Maddalone joined Apacheta in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Anthony’s responsibilities include managing the Company’s functions of finance, administration, legal, facilities and human resources. Anthony brings over 25 years of industry experience in start-up and mid-sized companies where he has held senior financial and operational positions in the United States and Europe, at both public and private, venture-backed companies.
Prior to joining Apacheta, Anthony served as Chief Financial Officer of Scala, Inc., First Index, Inc. and Broadbeam Corporation (now a subsidiary of MobileAware.) Prior to Broadbeam, Anthony held a variety of executive management positions in the United States and Europe at Logic Works, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Computer Associates), an enterprise client/server software company. As VP of European Finance & Operations (based in Switzerland and then the United Kingdom), he was responsible for the finance and administration functions of five subsidiaries during sales growth averaging 47 percent per annum. As VP, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, he was a key member of management taking the company public in 1995 (NASDAQ: LGWX). Anthony was also responsible for building and managing the company’s worldwide financial and MIS organization and infrastructure during periods of exceptional sales growth averaging 173% per annum. Prior to this, Anthony was employed in a variety of auditing and tax positions at Ernst & Young. Anthony holds an MBA and BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a CPA.
